Hi everyone,

I’m Federico, a digital dental technician.

I am a CAD/CAM expert and I work at the Lazzaro Spallanzani Clinic as a digital dental technician.

In the clinic, we have fifteen chair stations, and we will soon be opening more.

We started by buying our first milling machine, the DWX-52DCi, that has up to 6 discs and 15 automatic accessories.

Soon afterwards, we purchased a second one and then a third.  This allows us to run the machines day and night even with different materials. Does this mean that our role as dental technicians is being replaced by milling machines in the clinics? Not at all.

On the contrary, there are 15 dental technicians working here, including myself. We follow the entire digital workflow in the clinic, and after the clinician has taken the digital impression, we receive the work that needs to be done.

We are very happy with the choices we have made, and we are continuing to expand. Thanks to zero errors, replicability and great patient service.
